Day 2: Delhi

Humayun's Tomb
After breakfast explore India’s capital. Delhi with its Old and New parts - each with its specific charm and glory - makes a very interesting city for its sustenance to medieval and modern cultures at the same time and space. While Old Delhi, built by Mughal Emperor Shahjehan in the 17th century, still retains its medieval character to a great extent and almost indubitably reminds one of the crowded old towns of the Middle East, New Delhi is like any other modern city with tall buildings and massive shopping complex. Today you will be taken to visit - Red Fort, Jama Masjid and will also enjoy rickshaw ride in the by-lanes of Chandini Chowk. Later in the afternoon you will be taken to explore New Delhi – including Humayun's Tomb, Qutab Minar and drive past Lutyen's Delhi. Overnight: Delhi
Day 3: Delhi – Agra

Taj Mahal at Sun rise
After breakfast you will be collected from your hotel and driven to Agra (5 hours). Built in the early 16th century and the capital of mighty Mughals for a long time, Agra is famous for its beautiful monuments of the medieval times. The city was pampered by the Mughals for more than two centuries — an evidence of which is spread all over the city in form of various structures constructed during those days. However, with the fall of the mighty Mughals, Agra became a victim of rebels' assertion of power and the city suffered a series of plunders by the unruly rebellious forces. This afternoon you will be taken for a tour of Agra – visiting Agra Fort and Taj Mahal. Overnight: Agra

Day 11: Narlai– Kumbhalgarh - Udaipur
Today after breakfast you will be driven to Udaipur (2 ½ hour drive). En route you will visit the majestic fort of Kumbhalgarh.
Located north of Udaipur in the wilderness, Kumbhalgarh is the second most important citadel after Chittorgarh in the Mewar region. Cradled in the Aravali Ranges, the fort was built in the 15th century by Rana Kumbha. Because of its inaccessibility and hostile topography the fort had remained un-conquered. It also served the rulers of Mewar as a refuge in times of strife. The fort is self-contained and has within its amalgam almost everything to withstand a long siege. The fort fell only once that too to the combined armies of Mughal and of Amber for scarcity of drinking water. The fort's thick wall stretches some 36 kms and is wide enough to take eight horses abreast. The fort's large compound has very interesting ruins and the walk around it can be very rewarding. Kumbhalgarh is an ideal stop-over while traveling from Udaipur to Jodhpur. You will arrive in Udaipur in the evening and will be at leisure for the rest of the day.
